14. Bayesian and beyond

Session 5 introduced the Bayesian idea briefly, alongside the rules for combining probabilities. Now that you have worked through frequentist inference (hypothesis testing, p-values, effect size, ANOVA), this session develops the Bayesian framework properly and contrasts the two. We will also briefly discuss other approaches in statistics.
